Mitsubishi 2007 DLP TVs - On the Leading
Edge

Mitsubishi WD DLP televisions are
tough competition in a very competitive field. They have some
features that make them a little different from all the rest.
For instance, there’s the Mitsubishi WD-65731 65" HDTV.
It’s a beauty, and customer reviews are consistently
positive.
One thing that makes the Mitsubishi WD DLP series
special is a new generation of 1080p DLP technology, which
provides twice the definition of older DLP models. In addition,
these television sets up-convert all lower quality images to
1080p, no matter what source they come from. This gives you
astounding picture quality. Mitsubishi also uses a six-color
system instead of the traditional three colors, which gives you
crisper color and more ability to adjust colors for your
preferences.
That sounded pretty cool, didn’t it? What it means is that
you get the best picture available in big screen television
sets to date. No matter what you use for a video source. It can
be an old VCR tape, and you will still get an awesome
picture.
Mitsubishi DLP TV’s, including the Mitsubishi WD-65731
65" HDTV, have all the bells and whistles—picture-in-picture,
split screen, parental controls, incredible sound and more.
The Mitsubishi WD's are sleeker and lighter than previous
models, too. The cabinet is beautiful, and it takes up much
less space. It’s like having a movie screen in the corner, not
a great big TV set.
Mitsubishi has included other proprietary technology in
their televisions, too. They use a high intensity Turbolight ®
150, which has a brighter output without using more energy or
producing more heat. There’s noise reduction technology and
audio technology that converts analog signals to rich digital
sound.
And—this is the best feature—it has a lighted, easy to use
(with pictures on the screen to guide you) all in one remote.
Did you get that? One remote to program everything. And
it’s easy to use. Amazing!
Mitsubishi introduced their next generation DLP television
at this year’s technology fair, and plans to market it for
Christmas, 2007. This television is to the Mitsubishi
WD series what the Mitsubishi Spyder is to the Gallant. It
is sleeker, cooler and has even clearer and sharper pictures.
It’s the 2007 62 inch Mitsubishi Laser TV.
Instead of using white light bulbs with DLP technology, the
Laser TV will use a trio of primary colored superconductor
lasers and a new HD chip. The reviews say it produces a more
three-dimensional picture with exceptional color and clarity
and truer blacks.
We don’t know yet for sure exactly what the Laser TV will
look like, because the working model hasn’t been placed in a
cabinet yet. Mitsubishi did show a mock-up of it, and the
cabinet is barely there—the front of the television is nearly
all screen. It’s only about 7 inches deep, and much lighter
than previous models.
This year’s HDTV technology is excellent, and it won’t be
obsolete for years. You can buy a rear projection DLP
television today, and you won’t be kicking yourself for it next
year or the year after that. You’ll be enjoying gorgeous HDTV
on a big screen television while the rest of us are waiting
around for the next big thing.
Or you can wait until Christmas and buy the next big thing:
Mitsubishi’s Laser TV.
